올해 CONNECT는 홍익대학교 주연화 교수를 디렉터로 선임해 전시의 다양성을 더욱 강화했습니다. 특히 아시아 현대미술의 1세대 여성 작가를 조명하는 허스토리 HERSTORY 섹션에서는 약 60여개의 작품들을 한 공간에서 소개하는 미술관급 전시를 선보입니다. 쿠사마 야요이, 정강자, 샤오루 등 동아시아를 대표하는 여성 작가들의 작품과 함께 신디 셔먼, 제니 홀저, 키키 스미스 등 서구 대표 여성 작가들의 작품까지 한자리에서 만나보시기 바랍니다.
